get a hotel in a happening area near public transportation and you probably wont need Car Rental And, well parking is a bitch, if the company is paying get a hotel that validates or has a garage. You Don't need a car, there is a great rail system- B.A.R.T. and taxis and buses, and walking. Rent a scooter, There may even be a bus that gets you to muir woods. Most people that live in the city don't have or need a car
